Pete Hutchison and Marc Zimmerman are training new program leaders in Salinas, CA this week.
Salinas is the site of one of the Striving To Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere (STRYVE) pilot communities. STRYVE is adapting the YES program to their community as part of their overall youth violence reduction strategy.
This is a collaboration with the Monterey County Health Department, and is described in more detail on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention site.
